Wir wurden am 24.01.2023 erneut ausgezeichnet, diesmal von der Jury des “Design & Innovation Awards 2023” zum “Winner 2023” in der Kategorie “Gravel Bike” ausgezeichnet. Das freut uns wirklich sehr und die Begründung der Jury könnt ihr euch hier ansehen.

Das M83 Vagabund Iron sieht nicht nur cool und besonders aus, es ist dank prozessoptimierter Kleinserienfertigung in Deutschland auch ein konkurrenzfähiges Boutique-Bike geworden. Der robuste Stahlrahmen ist handmade in Germany, alle Komponenten made in Europe. Lenker, Vorbau und Sattelstütze sind aus Carbon und von Beast Components aus Deutschland beigesteuert, Groupset und Laufräder von Campagnolo aus Italien mit mehreren Produktionsstandorten in der EU Zone – das garantiert kurze Wege und nachhaltige Materialversorgung. Das Bike aus der Manufaktur 83 bietet guten Komfort durch die Eigendämpfung des Stahlrahmens, zudem sorgen die Pirelli-Reifen für Grip. All diese Features und Attribute machen das Bike zwar einzigartig und selten, schaffen zugleich jedoch ein konkurrenzfähiges, regional produziertes Bike. Die Kleinserienfertigung erlaubt M83, rund 200 Bikes im Jahr anzufertigen – gute Räder gibt’s eben nicht wie Sand am Meer.

On 24.01.2023, we were once again awarded as „Winner 2023“ in the category „Gravel Bike“ this time by the jury of the „Design & Innovation Awards 2023“. We are really happy about this and you can read the jury’s statement here.
The M83 Vagabund Iron doesn’t just look amazing; thanks to optimised batch production, it’s also a competitively priced boutique bike. The robust steel frame is handmade in Germany, and it’s specced with European made components throughout. German brand Beast Components supply the carbon handlebar, stem, and seat post, while the groupset and wheels come from Italian brand Campagnolo, who also manufacture in the EU – this keeps the shipping routes short and offers a sustainable supply of materials. Thanks to the natural damping characteristics of steel, the M83 provides a comfortable ride, while the Pirelli tires generate plenty of grip. All these features and attributes make for a unique and rare bike, and it presents a competitively priced, locally made option, too. The batch production method allows M83 to produce around 200 bikes per year – well-made bikes will always be rare.
